Jus In Bello Convention

Hello everyone!
After having slept for a whole 12 hours in a row here we are again to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s been at the convention this past weekend.
You’ve been such a great audience –passionate yet truly well-behaved- it’s been a true honor to have you there. You impressed all our guests as well making the con a pleasant experience for everyone, they said so repeatedly on stage and privately, and for this again thank you!
An apology for the -hopefully not terrible- mistakes we incurred into is also due to you everyone and even if it’s no excuse we hope you can believe we tried our hardest to set them straight, so thank you for the patience we’ve asked you to have toward us.
And thank you for the wonderful paintings you’ve gifted Chiara, Francesca and me, even more thank you for your warmth. That really meant the world to us and to all our staff, you’ve made a lot of hard work worthwhile!
Of course we’re sure you want to join us in our thank you towards our guests as they’ve been all so amazing and they went way beyond what professional engagement required of them.
They made us laugh with unexpected jokes and pranks on each other, they moved us sharing important experiences, and they made sure everyone realized they appreciated to be there with all of us.
For this we have no words except the most simple and most sincere THANK YOU!
We also wish to say a special thanks to Julie who is an amazing woman and helped us all the time working tirelessly to have things run smoothly and keep everyone happy. And to Clif for his advices, his support, friendliness and willing to help whenever he could.
A thanks to Andrea our wonderful announcer, Federico our technical coordinator, and Fabrizio our photographer.
To Barbara and Erika a big hug from all of US for being great fans but being better human being! You girls made this possible to and you know it.
And last but not least a thank you to all the guys of our staff who really worked constantly without complaining. If the convention run well, most of the time it was due to their efforts and their team work.
To Alessio, Ambra, Angela, Antonio, Carla, Davide, Flavia, Franca, Francesco, Giorgio, Giulio, Greta, Ivan, Linda, Micaela, Michele, Nadia, Natassa, Paolo, Saverio, Simone, Sonia, Tommaso, Valentino, Valeria thank you! We would have not made it without you!

And about next year well what to say, Chiara, Francesca, and I started to work last year thinking this was going to be a 1 time  deal, we all arrived at the convention stating everything would end once the curtain closed on Sunday night, and we really were convinced of that, but we’ve received HUNDREDS OF emails in those past few days asking for a new con next year, our guests to have expressed their willingness to come back more than once, so even if we’re not saying yes right now, there will most probably be an other JUS IN BELLO CONVENTION next year, same place, around same date.
Just let us check and receive a positive reply from all the working staff who’s made this experience a success before confirming anything, because if we do a second Con we want to make sure not only the experience is going to be as good as this one but better! Doing something worse is not an option we are willing to take into account. We’ve learned a lot of things this past weekend and we will be ready for a better start off next time, with a lot of new ideas.
Next Monday we will let you know for sure as we will know if everyone is in this time yet again, so if you are interested in coming back check the website for the news!

And finally on a more practical note .jpg file for your photos will be up and ready in the next few days, maximum a week. We will upload thumbnails, each one with a code and you will have to check them, find yours and send a request by email specifying your pass number and the picture’s code.
Each photos will require a contribution (no more than a couple of €) for the uploading work from technical staff but we will be more precise about it as soon as we know too.
