Here is the place to look for roommates for the JIB 4.

There are a few simple rules to follow so that you do not create confusion and that all they can find a roomie.

1) I ask you to always specify the time spam you are going to stay, in which hotel, make a small introduction of yourself and write your private email address to let people contact you.

2) When you find a roommate, I require you to write it here, so you can update from time to time the post.

We just wish to remind everybody that we are not responsible for this kind of private agreements between participants or any trouble that may arise among participants because of this, we are only trying to help you contacting each other.

I'm looking for a roommate, preferably in the Airport Hilton, but the other hotel is fine too. I had a roommate already, but he had to cancel, so now I'm back to square one. I've been told (as recently as last weekend) that I'm a good con roommate. I don't smoke or snore, and I'm generally agreeable. While I often stay out late at con events, I'm quiet when I come back to the room. My roommates referred to me as a roommate ninja.

I'm in a similar position to you, in that there are 3 of us, but we have two double rooms booked, one for Friday and Saturday only, and the other (my room) for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights... so we need a 4th person to share the second double room.

I have flights booked already - I'm going to be in Rome from Monday 6th to Monday 13th May, staying in a different hotel with a non-convention friend from Monday night until Friday morning, then moving to the Hilton on Friday until Monday morning.

We may have a fourth person already, but I'm not sure if they are definite or not (I can try to find out). So if not, maybe we could combine our rooms... we could cancel one of them and then share the other one?

It's my first convention as well, so I'll right there with you on the excitement front! The only thing I'm worried about right now is whether Jensen will make it or if he'll have to cancel, what with Danneel being pregnant (and possibly due around that time!).

It, indeed, could be a good solution to combine the rooms. I can take a flight that lands on Friday morning but I probably wouldn't stay for Sunday night because my friend actually decided to join me in Rome to spend a couple of days there after the con. Unless she gets a flight in for Monday morning instead.
Anyway, let me know ( nanousblues@gmail.com) if the fourth person you mentionned can't make it and if you want to room with me, we can always work something out. As I said, I'm pretty flexible on the dates and I won't book the flights before I'm certain of the accomodation.
I'm also not opposed to chat a little bit beforehand to get to know each other, even if we don't get to room together! It could be nice to know someone at this event (oops, I might be more nervous than I previously thought!)
